With the new fall season, WBBZ-TV is announcing some programming changes along with the MeTV Network.
“Wagon Train” will now air at 4pm weekday afternoons, continuing the popular “Rope Opera” Western block of programming that begins with the “Big Valley” at Noon each day. while the “Beverly Hillibillies” will move back to 7a.m.
It’s topical talk, Buffalo style on the “Daily Buzz 716!” Our local program will continue to air at 10a.m., and we encourage everyone to visit our Eastern Hills studio to participate. Look for encore presentations online soon.
The evening encore will move to make way for more laughs with the classic “Hogan’s Heroes” at 10:30p.m.; followed by the iconic comedy of “The Carol Burnett Show” at 11p.m.
This week, MeTV is offering up special episodes celebrating the 50th anniversary of the show!
Sci-Fi Saturday starts off with “Wonder Woman” at 7p.m.; while movie maven “Svengoolie” moves to 8pm with his unique brand of comedy and classics.
At 10 & 10:30p.m. Adam West and Burt Ward return in the original “Batman” television series.
Captain Kirk and the Starship Enterprise crew from the original “Star Trek” move to 11p.m. Saturday nights, with the beatniks from Buffalo’s own “Off Beat Cinema” following at Midnight.
On Sunday, enjoy “Touched by An Angel” at 10p.m. with the legendary Della Reese.
