WBBZ-TV Vice President and General Manager Chris Musial is proud to announce that “Beat The Champ” – Western New York’s only TV bowling show – will roll Saturday at 4p.m. from the Rapids Bowling Center in Niagara Falls on WBBZ-TV, Your Hometown MeTV Station, with an encore Sunday night at 11p.m.

“Beat The Champ” originally aired for decades on Channel 4 with legendary hosts Chuck Healy and Van Miller. While it has not been seen for close to twenty years, the competition remains one of the longest running bowling programs on television
Now, “Beat The Champ” is co-hosted by veteran sportscaster Paul Peck and Greater Buffalo USBC Association Hall of Fame bowler Sue Nawojski. Peck worked for decades at “News 4” before becoming a financial advisor and play-by-play broadcaster for the UB Bulls football team. Janelle Sabin keeps the numbers on the Castilone Jeep, Chrysler, Plymouth Scoreboard.
