A new year is here. Which means, as always, there are changes coming to the MeTV lineup, beginning January 1 we welcome faces both familiar and new to our schedule. Let’s take a look at who’s joining our family.
What are we talkin’ ’bout, Willis? For starters, Diff’rent Strokes! Willis, Arnold and the Drummonds move in as Diff’rent Strokes airs six days a week, Sunday through Friday. You can catch this 1978–85 sitcom Monday–Friday at 6:30AM, and watch two episodes on Sundays at 3PM, right after its spin-off The Facts of Life.
There are more changes coming to Weekdays starting on New Year’s Day, too. Following the thrilling adventures of Jim West in The Wild Wild West, as the spy-fi Western runs Monday–Friday at 5PM
Weeknights, tune in at 9PM to catch the late, great Jim Nabors in Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C., right after The Andy Griffith Show (in most markets).
Late night, keep your ears perked for one of the great TV theme songs and your eyes peeled for one of the coolest private eyes as Peter Gunn cruises his way back onto the schedule at 5AM. Mr. Lucky, another hip, noir series from creator Blake Edwards, rolls his way onto the schedule Sunday nights (or, well, early Monday mornings) at 5AM
Speaking of action after dark, Kolchak: The Night Stalker kicks off our Saturday night Red Eye Sci-Fi block beginning January 6 at 1AM ( In Buffalo, available over-the-air on Channel 67.3). Following him, it’s a full block of colorful, spectacular Irwin Allen gems with Lost in Space, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea and Land of the Giants.
