WBBZ-TV, Your Hometown MeTV Station celebrated another great hometown event – The Erie County Fair!
Everyone who stopped by the Fairgrounds in Hamburg, New York from August 10th through the 21st got to play the Hotshot Football Challenge.
Thanks to you, over $5,000 was raised to assist Prevention Focus, the organization that educates young people on the problems of substance abuse and addiction.
Matt Smith, Executive Director of Prevention Focus joins John Di Sciullo from Your Hometown MeTV Station in thanking everyone for stopping by the tent to play the game, and interact with their staff and the WBBZ-TV team.
For a $1 dollar donation, you had a chance to make 3 throws and hit the football target. The prizes were generously donated by Chef’s Italian Restaurant; the law offices of William Mattar; The Buffalo Roadhouse Grill; Dave & Busters; Holland Speedway; 3G Graphix; and Ransomville Speedway.
The special editions of the WBBZ-TV television game show “Bragging Rights” will repeat in between Christmas and New Year’s!
