WILLIAMSVILLE, NY (salvatoresgrand.com) Hospitality icon Russell J. Salvatore is inviting all of Western New York to join him Friday April 28th<\/sup> when he joins representatives of the Junior League of Buffalo, and the Kevin Guest House, as he helps cut the ribbon to open the 19th<\/sup> Decorators’ Show House.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Decorators’ Show House will be staged at the August Feine House, 766 Ellicott Street in Buffalo. This will be the future site of The Russell J. Salvatore Hospitality House on the Kevin Guest House Campus.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A \u201cGarden Reception\u201d with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres presented by Giancarlo’s will follow the ribbon cutting, with tours of the decorated house. Tickets are required for this event, and available at www.jlbuffalo.org<\/a> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The 19th<\/sup> Decorators’ Show House is presented by the Junior League of Buffalo and the Buffalo News.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The August Feine House is in the heart of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus (BNMC). \u00a0The 7,800 square foot home was built by John Iribacher in 1888 and was purchased by Feine in 1906. Originally from Germany, Feine was an artisan and leader in the field of hand forged wrought iron work in the early 20th Century. \u00a0He specialized in ornamental iron latticework and examples of his talents are visible througout the interior and exterior of this historic structure. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

When the restoration of the house is complete, it will become the newest component of the Kevin Guest House (KGH), a four-building campus hosting patients and families traveling to Buffalo for medical care. \u00a0The additional of this house to the campus will double the number of guests KGH can host, provide handicap accessibility and will provide larger suites for families.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Junior League of Buffalo, in conjunction with The Buffalo News, has raised more than $3.9 million to benefit the Western New York community through revenue generated by\u00a0the Decorators’ Show Houses.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
