WBBZ-TV was at the Erie County Fair!\u00a0 Thousands of fans stopped by the WBBZ-TV Gazebo, making a $1 donation to benefit Prevention Focus, and spin the “Wheel of Summer Fun!”<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
Thanks to you, $9,000 was raised!<\/div>\n

Prevention Focus is our not-for-profit partner at WBBZ-TV.\u00a0 The mission of Prevention Focus is to make “Safe and Healthy Happen” for hometown children.\u00a0 This team educates young people on the dangers of substance abuse, and how to make the best choices as they grow.\u00a0 You can find out more information at www.preventionfocus.org.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Our prizes included sunglasses, tumblers, frisbees, and EVERYONE picked up a coupon for $1 dollar off Chef’s World Famous Pasta Sauce; Babcia’s Pierogi at the Fairground trailer; Salvatore’s Pizza also on the Fairgrounds; and $10 off a ride with Liberty Cab!<\/div>\n

Plus, people watched “Fair Day LIVE” every morning at 8:30a.m. on Your Hometown MeTV Station Channel 67.1 on-air; Cable 5; FiOS 5; Dish 5; DirecTV67, and across the country on Facebook LIVE!

The Erie County Agricultural Society is a private not-for-profit membership corporation, which annually produces the Erie County Fair. The Society is the oldest civic organization in Western New York, established in 1819. The Society does not receive funding from New York State or from the County of Erie.<\/p>\n
