This event is coordinated through Roswell Park\u2019s Team Cure program, in support of critical cancer research and patient support programs at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Almost all of us know someone touched by cancer. But the good news is that thanks to efforts of places like Roswell Park, advances in treatment and quality of life care provide hope for remission and hope for a cure.<\/p>\n

Bridget Schuh was diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2008. During her six-year battle against the disease, she was cared for at Roswell Park, as was her mother Janet, who predeceased her in February 2008. Bridget and her husband Tom produced a series of musical benefits during Bridget\u2019s treatment, raising approximately $10,000 for Roswell Park during 2010-11. Bridget succumbed to her disease on January 6, 2014. In her memory, her family and friends are rallying to make this year\u2019s event the biggest yet. More than ten bands have committed to appear, and more surprises are on the way!<\/p>\n
