Overview

Each member of our team is passionate about their role at our station, and it shows in the content we produce. We are looking to add a member to our sales team who is equally motivated and looks to work in an environment of people who genuinely care about their work and each other. Responsibilities for the Account Executive role include managing an existing account base, new business generation, cold calling, relationship building, and regular visits to customer (and prospective customer) locations for in-person meetings. Candidates must be adept at proposal preparation and presentation to a diverse customer base. The role requires excellent organization, communication, and time management skills. The ideal candidate will be a socially motivated person who thrives on presenting to groups and driving revenue in a fast-paced environment. Prior media sales experience is a plus.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

· Identify, develop, and establish new client relationships

· Expand existing relationships & key accounts

· Create targeted customer presentations

· Make regular in-person sales calls to customer sites

· Ensure a clear and thorough understanding of customer needs and recommend solutions that will deliver outstanding results

· Negotiate advertising rates and generate advertising packages

· Weekly development of new leads and outbound outreach

· Maintain detailed account activity in Salesforce including sales cycle progress, account updates, and revenue forecasting

· Meet or exceed established targets for sales activity and sales revenue

Specialized Skills and Experience Required:

· Experience developing strategies and successfully executing to achieve long-range objectives

· Strong communication and presentation skills

· Strong problem solving and organizational skills

· Strong negotiation skills

· Experience in sales

· Media and Ad sales experience is a plus, but not required.

· Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record

· A high level of proficiency with computers, smartphones, and business-related applications like Office or Google Docs. Salesforce experience is strongly preferred
