The beatniks from the long running nationally syndicated
movie show “Off Beat Cinema” are proud to present a second
America 250 Labor Day Special celebrating the brands that shaped a nation.
Watch as “Bird” ( Tony Billoni ), “Lana” ( Allie Brady ), “Spectra”
( Nia Marcolini ), and “Theo” ( Jeff Roberts ) do a deep dive into
television history to find out why we had to squeeze the Charmin!
This hour long retrospective brings back memorable messaging that
defined our culture from the 60’s through the 80’s. How many
will you remember? The beatnik banter sets it all up, as well
as sharing some important background.
This “Off Beat Cinema” special was the brainchild of Get After
It Media Co-President and COO Otto Padron, in collaboration with program
creator and writer James Gillan, as an America 250 media special.

Off Beat Cinema is produced at flagship station WBBZ-TV in
Buffalo, NY by Off Beat Productions, Inc. The program has been
on-the-air every weekend since Halloween night 1993, and airing weekly on
